"As a sector we must make an effort to offer our products and services also in Basque"

GAIA is a Cluster Association created in 1983 by electronics companies that today represents the knowledge and technology of the Basque industry.

Oihana Arrieta, responsible for Business Alliances at GAIA, explained that the main objective of the Association is to contribute to the competitiveness of the companies that make it up. And for this they offer different services, for example, they help them in the field of talent to train and look for people that adapt to their needs; or they advise them on R&D&I programs in the field of knowledge and technology.

"Our products and services are aimed at the industry, they have a large presence on the Internet. And with so much presence we should make an effort as a sector to translate our products into Basque, as well as to provide our services in Basque and, with that, in the promotion of the diffusion of our language."
